✅ A stronger future for local jobs, environmental protection, and education
This achievement is the result of years of dedication and collaboration by government agencies, local communities, conservation leaders, and international partners.
Congratulations to the Secretary of State for Forestry, the KNTLU team, and everyone who helped make this historic milestone possible.
For Timorese tourism operators, this significant step provides a powerful narrative to share with visitors: a destination where nature, culture, and communities are valued and protected for future generations.
This recognition is not just about preserving what makes Timor-Leste special, it is about creating sustainable opportunities for people and businesses while showcasing our unique heritage to the world.
